Young Adult Holiday Party Saturday, Dec 9th, 7:00PM St. Albert the Great's Hospitality Center1095 Channing AvePalo Alto.Hosted by the Stanford Young Adult Group. Join Young Adults of this Deanery in a Christmas celebration. We'll have hotchocolate, cider and some tasty snacks. We ask all attendees to bring a drink, dessert or snack to share, or $5.00 to helpcover costs. We also ask guests to bring an unwrapped gift for a teenager for a toy drive held by Stanford's permanent community.So get dressed up for the holidays and celebrate the season with the Young Adults of Deanery 2!If you wish to help setup, please show up to the Hospitality Center at St. Albert the Great at 6PM on Sat. 12/9Contact Joe at: jddarcy@sonic.net for more info or to help organize.

Early Holiday Liturgy Saturday, December 9th, 11PMMemorial Church, Stanford CampusAll are welcome to attend this special liturgy as the Catholic Community at Stanford celebrates Christmas before final exams.This early Midnight Mass begins with a candlelight procession and ends with a festival of carols. Since her first reported apparition to Juan Diego in Mexico City, Our Lady of Guadalupe has been an honored and mystifying Catholic figure. Catholics honor her as the manifestation of the Virgin Mary and she is a significant nationalistic icon to the Mexican people. This lecture, presented by Gloria Inès Loya, PBVM, will delve into the mystery of Our Lady of Guadalupe and provide insight into some of our sacred beliefs about her. Prepare to be enlightened!

Join hundreds of other elves as they process thousands of gifts destined for the less fortunate in the Bay Area. San Jose Christmas in the Park Saturday, December 16th, 6PMA group from the Circle will be meeting first at Sonoma Chicken Coop, 31 N Market St., San Jose, for dinner and then tour the Christmas in the Park exhibits at Plaza de Cesar Chavez in San Jose.
